Generator Foundation
The customer has stringent requirements for straightness and that the component complies with small tolerances. The steel component functions as a foundation for the wind turbine gear, which is installed in the wind turbine canopy. Its longest length is more than 3 metres and it weighs more than 2 tons. In addition to casting, East Metal Trade has machined and surface-treated the component.
